Over the course of January we’ve been revisiting some of the best moments from The Clash Act is part of Full Time on Monday evenings.
This week, with Sinead Kehoe at the helm, we’re going back to three interviews from 2021 where Eddie Scally got to sit down with Windgap and Kilkenny Camogie’s Denise Gaule, eight-time All-Ireland winner Michael Rice and Carlow sharp-shooter Marty Kavanagh.
With Denise, this stretch of her interview at the time looks at the disparity and inequality between the men’s and women’s games.
St. Mullin’s man Marty Kavanagh leads off with a look at some of his formative years in hurling for both club and county.
And Kilkenny’s Michael Rice talks about his rise through the ranks of Kilkenny’s underage ranks up to senior level and the journey that brought him to eight All-Ireland senior hurling titles.
