It’s been another busy week in the world of camogie.
Last weekend we made the trip to Pairc Ui Chaoimh for full coverage of Cork and Kilkenny in the third round of the Camogie Leagues Division 1. New rules for the league this year mean that only one team progresses from each group in the division and despite Kilkenny finishing their league run unbeaten (two wins and a draw against Cork), it’s the Rebels who progress on scoring difference.
We’ll hear from manager Brian Dowling on the team’s performance and his thoughts on the revised league format for 2022. We’ll also hear from Kilkenny minor manager Mike Wall as his side get ready for an All-Ireland championship semi-final on Sunday afternoon.
And is there a change in mindset needed to get more supporters – in particular, players – to games? It’s one of several talking points on this week’s podcast.
