Padraig’s Walsh’s input against Waterford has seen him pick up a nomination for Player of the Week too alongside Wexford’s Rory O’Connor and Dublin’s Fergal Whitely. The winner will be announced on Tuesday.
Walsh won his fair share of ball at the weekend having spent the league campaign around the half-forward line and chipped in with five points from play as Kilkenny beat Waterford 2-21 to 0-21 on Sunday.
Kilkenny will now go on to play Cork in this weekend’s league semi-final.
