The Clash Act is back this Friday.
Having wrapped up a long first season in 2021, the last episode in the podcast series featured four-time All-Ireland winning Meath manager Sean Boylan in August of last year.
Now, it’s back for a second season.
Hosted by Gaelic games aficionado Eddie Scally, The Clash Act provides the opportunity to ‘deep dive’ with players and officials past and present on their careers and matters of the day.
Guests making their way to the podcast this season include Wexford All-Star footballer Mattie Forde, former Tipperary and Dublin hurler Ryan O’Dwyer and Kilkenny’s own Colin Fennelly.
Episode one of the new season features an in-depth look at the career of Fennelly, from his early days with the Shamrocks to his inter-county breakthrough with Kilkenny and ultimate departure from that stage in 2020, before going on to lead Ballyhale to a fourth straight Kilkenny senior title last season.
You’ll be able to get your hand (and ears) on the episodes from 8pm each Friday night for the next ten weeks.
