The Irish Open which takes place at Mount Juliet in Kilkenny at the end of June will not feature Rory McIlroy.
While he has opted to skip the Mount Juliet event, the Northern Irish golfer will take part in the JP McManus Pro-Am at Adare Manor the week after the Irish Open.
McIlroy will play four tournaments before the Irish Open, with the Memorial, the RBC Canadian Open, the Travelers, and the US Open all taking place before the event.
Before playing at Adare Manor, he will rest that week as the Mount Juliet tournament begins on June 30th. He will then take a break before the Open begins on July 14th.
