Speaking with club rep recently Garry Doyle he commented on Kilkenny’s chances coming into the competition;

“We have been competitive enough, where we got to the socials finals a few years. This year I say our women’s team will be hoping to give it a good rattle this year.”

“Railway Union do have a few Irish internationals. The standards are quite high, but we are confident that our men and women team will give it a good rattle this year.”

“It is a really good party feel, and just a great day out.”

Additionally, Andrew, congratulated the club on their season while also celebrating the women’s and girl’s teams on their successes this season, as well as the contribution Kilkenny RFC makes to the community, through minis and youths.

Along with the sevens tourney they have their tag social tonight (Friday) starting at 6.30 pm
