The Michael Lyng Motors Hyundai Carlow Senior Football Championship continues this weekend with four games across Group 1 and Group 2.
Both groups are finely poised after an opening weekend that brought with it some eye-catching results.
Group 1 saw Paltine comfortably get the better of a depleted looking Mount Leinster Rangers side, while county champions Rathvilly eventually got the better of a battling Old Leighlin team.
In Group 2, Turlough O’Brien’s Eire Og let a five-point lead slip late on against Bagenalstown Gaels with both teams sharing the spoils and Tinryland eased past Ballinabranna.
The upcoming round of fixtures begins on Friday night with the meeting of Bagenalstown Gaels and Ballinabranna.
The pick of the games comes on Saturday evening as Palatine and Rathvilly go head-to-head.
There’s a double header on Sunday with Tinryland and Eire Og’s clash preceding the final match of the weekend between Mount Leinster Rangers and Old Leighlin.
