It's a revolving door at Newatch Cullen Park this weekend as we hit the business-end of the intermediate and senior football championships.

There’ll be no Bagenalstown Gaels or Éire Óg in this year’s Carlow senior football championship semi-finals but there’s no rest for the wicked either with a packed house expected in Netwatch Cullen Park this weekend.

With the semi-final draws made on Sunday evening, the dates and times for this weekend’s games have been fixed.

On the senior side, Rathvilly and Palatine are first out under the lights with a 7.15pm throw-in time set for Saturday night at Netwatch Cullen Park. The winner will find out who they play in this year’s final by early Sunday evening with Mount Leinster Rangers set to meet Tinryland at 3.45pm.

We’ll have both games live with thanks to Dan Morrissey & Co this weekend, the latter on our Carlow frequencies due to live coverage of Ballyhale Shamrocks and Clara on our Kilkenny frequencies at the same time.

Intermediate semi-finals precede the seniors each day, Kildavin/Clonegal taking on Fenagh in Saturday’s curtain-raiser at 5.30pm while Naomh Eoin meet Kilbride at 2pm on Sunday.

Follow the buildup to this weekend’s games on air and online across the week.
