Whatever your thoughts on this year’s FIFA World Cup in Qatar, it’s hard to argue the final round of group games weren’t exciting.
With all groups completing their fixtures on Friday night, we now head into the knockout stages with no Germany, Belgium, Denmark, or Uruguay while results in the last few days also saw Japan and Morocco top their respective groups – something certainly not on our pre-tournament predictions.
We do have our last 16 hopefuls, however, with group winners facing group runners-up and games underway from Saturday afternoon.
So, who’s playing who in the World Cup knockout stages?
