James Stephens has announced that the club are running a bus to Croke Park next Saturday the 17th to support their Intermediate camogie team in the All-Ireland Final.
The Village goes up against Clonduff at quarter passed four on the day, and former inter-county star Eoin Larkin believes this first appearance in Croke Park will have a huge influence on the youth in the club.
“Obviously for the young girls in the club, to see the adult team is still going two weeks before Christmas. That cannot be underestimated the importance of that.”
“Getting up to Croke Park, win, lose or draw. What the intermediate team has done for the girls in the club has been unbelievable.”
“We are all so proud of them.”
It won’t be the only Kilkenny representation on the day as Marble City referee Liz Dempsey is to officiate the Senior All-Ireland Club Final right after.
