Colleges hurling and football returns for 2023 as Fitzgibbon and Sigerson Cup draws have been made

The draws for the Electric Ireland GAA Higher Education Championships were made at Croke Park yesterday.

Matches start early in the new year and the finals will take place on the GAA campus at SETU Waterford from February 15th- 20th

SETU Carlow has been drawn in group B of the Fitzgibbon Cup alongside Mary Immaculate and DCU, with the first fixture occurring on the 18th of January

While in the Sigerson Cup, SETU Carlow will play St. Marys with that game set for the 10th of January, with the final set for the 15th of February.

MTU Kerry v ATU Sligo – Tues 10 Jan
SETU Carlow v St Mary’s – Tues 10 Jan
University of Galway v Maynooth U.- Tues 10 Jan
MTU Cork v UCD – Tues 10 Jan
Queen’s University v Ulster University – Wed 11 Jan
ATU Donegal v DCU DÉ – Wed 11 Jan
ATU Galway v TU Dublin – Wed 11 Jan
UCC v UL – Wed 11 Jan

Note: Teams 1-4 will be drawn against each other in Round 1. The losers of these two games will play
each other in Round 2B- Relegation Final
