Lyng rings the changes as Kilkenny team to face Laois in Walsh Cup is named

Derek Lyng is keeping things fresh in preseason with his second team of the Walsh Cup campaign released on Saturday evening.

Cillian Buckley, Walter Walsh and young player of the year Mikey Butler are named on the bench while Billy Drennan, John Donnelly and Bill Sheehan will lead the line from the off.

The Cats face Laois on Sunday afternoon where they will look to build on last weekend’s close-encounter win with Offaly. Throw-in is set for 2pm and you can hear the game in full as always on Scoreline, on air on KCLR or wherever you hear KCLR online.
