Last week the draw for the LFA Senior Cup was made with Carlows New Oak Boys being paired with Bray Wanderers.
New Oak, who recorded a 5-nil victory over Ballymurphy Celtic yesterday to remain top of the Nationalist Premier Division, will be welcoming the League of Ireland side to the Burrin Road before the end of the month.
The Carlow team will be without the services of former Wexford FC and FAI Colleges & Universities International Player of the Year nominee Dean Kelly, who is off to Canada.
The draw for the last 16 of the Leinster Senior Cup took place tonight.

Scoreline caught up with player David O’Shea about the news, and he is showing no signs of being overawed by the opponent.
“It is fantastic to be at this stage of the competition. Whoever we are drawn against at this stage we are going to be considered underdogs and rightfully so.”
“It is going to be a major step up. One thing we can take from it, is we have a home draw, which should give us somewhat of an advantage. We are also catching them at the start of their season, while we are in the middle of ours, there is something else that will stand to us fitness wise.”

The clash will go ahead on Sunday the 29th of January, with a time expected to be confirmed soon. If New Oak do secure the victory, they secure themselves in the last eight with another mouth-watering tie against either Shamrock Rovers or UCD.
