LIVE: Kilkenny v Limerick, National Camogie League Division 1 Quarter Final

Following a two-week break, Kilkenny return to league action this weekend.

Derek Lyng’s side make the trip to Portlaoise to take on neighbours Laois in the third round of the Allianz National Hurling League Division 1B.

The Cats will be hoping to bounce back from a disappointing display in their defeat to Tipperary last time out as Jason Forde inspired the Premier County to victory in UPMC Nowlan Park.

You can hear full live commentary of the game from 1.30pm on Sunday with eight-time All-Ireland winner Aidan Fogarty previewing the game before a 2pm throw-in.

Make sure to stay tuned in as soon as the final whistle is blown as Fogarty will provide his expert analysis on the game and we’ll be hearing from Kilkenny manager Lyng.

We’ll also be building up to the game from 5pm on Saturday evening.

Former Laois manager Seamus ‘Cheddar’ Plunkett will be giving his thoughts on both sides ahead of Sunday’s showdown.

He will also be elaborating on his decision to return to the club scene in Kilkenny with intermediate side St Martin’s after a spell with James Stephens before his return to the top job in the O’Moore County.

On top of that, two-time All-Ireland winner and KCLR analyst Michael Walsh will be joining us to reflect on the league campaign so far for the Leinster champions and look ahead to the remainder of their group games.

Saturday

5pm – Seamus ‘Cheddar’ Plunkett

5.30pm – Michael Walsh

Sunday

1.30pm – Laois vs Kilkenny

3.40pm – Post-match analysis and interviews

KCLR is the only place where you can hear all of Kilkenny’s Allianz National Hurling League, Leinster championship and All-Ireland series games in 2023.
