The Cats are coming off the back of a win against Laois, with a very convincing first-half display, however, manager Derek Lyng was not happy with the drop-off in the second half and said they need to be more clinical in front of goal;
“We have to start taking our chances. We had a couple of goal chances in the first half, and really we needed to carry the ball further and make sure of them. One or two of them was trying to force it, and you can not do that either. It was decent to a point, but we lost our shape a little bit (in the second half).
“The reality is, we have bigger tests coming up ( Championship) and that is something we need to be wary of. When you go out of a game you need to find a way to get back into it. “
So join us this Sunday on air, online, and in the KCLR app from 1.15 pm for the buildup to the big game,
