The draw for the JJ Kavanagh & Sons 2023 senior football championship in Kilkenny was made on Sunday evening.
With the league just about wrapped up, football locally will be stepping up a notch from mid-April with five games fixed for the opening round of this year’s championship.
Tullogher Rosbercon, Mooncoin and defending county champions Mullinavat have secured byes into the quarter-finals.

The draws for the intermediate and junior football championships will take place later this month once the remaining league fixtures have been fulfilled.
