With St. Patrick’s weekend upon us, we’re in for a busy weekend of live sport starting this coming Friday.
On St. Patrick’s Day itself, we’ll be off to Croke Park with Tyreland, Cuffesgrange, Co. Kilkenny, as St. Kieran’s College contest their eighth consecutive All-Ireland colleges final with the Kilkenny school having won five of the previous seven titles. They’ll take on Presentation College Athenry, a side they’ll be very familiar with and with good crowds expected in Dublin on the day, we’ll have live coverage of the game for you beginning at 2.50pm.
This Saturday we’ll be heading to Netwatch Cullen Park with a detour via Buffers Alley to keep an eye on Kilkenny and Wexford in Division 2B of the VERY Camogie League. At Carlow GAA HQ it will be Sligo coming to town as they look to cement their promotion credentials. Carlow will be looking to finish the league campaign on a high and potentially make up for last year’s disappointing league defeat in Sligo, but we’ll be live from 5pm for full coverage with Dan Morrissey & Co. to find out how it all goes.
Then on Sunday we’re bringing you three live games as we begin proceedings early with a trip with Market Cross Shopping Centre to UPMC Nowlan Park at 11.30am for Kilkenny’s VERY Camogie League Division 1A clash with Cork ahead of Kilkenny’s senior hurling league clash with Waterford at 1.45pm, that game with thanks to Laharts Volkswagen. Both of those games will be on our Kilkenny frequencies while on our Carlow frequencies, we’ll have full coverage of Carlow and Derry in the closing round of the Allianz Hurling League group stages with Ray Whelan Ltd.
