It all comes down to Easter Sunday in Cork for Kilkenny and Limerick with this year’s Allianz Hurling League Division 1 title on the line.
With Kilkenny having seen off Cork in the semi-finals and Limerick overcoming Tipperary, we’re being served up a repeat of last year’s All-Ireland senior hurling final as Derek Lyng faces his biggest test to date as Kilkenny senior hurling manager.
The Cats came through their league campaign relatively unscathed, with just a second-round defeat to Tipperary their only dropped points, allowing the maximum number of competitive games available before starting their championship run. On Sunday they’ll also have the services of more returning players with Ballyhale duo Adrian Mullen and TJ Reid included in Lyng’s matchday squad.
We’ll be in Páirc Uí Caoimh with the All-Ireland winning duo of Adrian Ronan and Michael Walsh, while Eddie Scally joins our Scoreline sports team in studio for all your pre-match, half-time and post-match analysis as Kilkenny take on Limerick to close out the 2023 Allianz Hurling League.
