Tributes continue to pour in for Craig Breen following the death of the Slieverue native during a pre-event test ahead of next week’s Croatia Rally event.

Described by the World Rally Championship as “a rally fan first and a rally driver second”, Breen was preparing for his second start of the season for Hyundai Motorsport having equalled a career-high second-place finish at Rally Sweden in February.

In all, Breen recorded 82 starts in the WRC, claiming six-second places and three third places for three different manufacturers – Citroën, Ford and Hyundai.
