The local soccer season in Carlow has come to a close and Kilkenny’s not too far behind.
As mentioned on Sunday, Carlow’s New Oak Boys finished out their season by repeating their unprecedented successes of 2022 in claiming all four domestic trophies available to them. They wrapped matters up on Saturday evening with a 3-1 win over Parkville United to seal this year’s Douglas Jewellers Carlow Cup.
In Kilkenny, we saw Castlewarren Celtic awarded the Division 2 Cup on a walkover on Saturday while Derdimus did get some action on Sunday with the semi-finals of this year’s KCLR McCalmont Cup. A special mention too to Kilkenny United’s Under 12 girls side who came up short in their SFAI Trophy Final on Sunday with a 3-1 defeat to Home Farm.
Here are some of the key results from this past weekend. Check full Kilkenny results here and Carlow results here.
