Why be content with just one or two live games in a day when you can do five?
We’re giving over Scoreline today to the world of live sport, starting at the earlier time of 1pm and finishing up at 8pm where by the end of it all we’re hopeful of celebrating at least a few wins in the mix.
Up first, we’re in FBD Semple Stadium Thurles with Adrian Ronan and Pat Hoban to bring you live coverage of Kilkenny’s All-Ireland minor hurling semi-final against Munster champions Clare. Having been beaten well by Galway in their Leinster final last week, it’s a quick turnaround and another tough test for Niall Bergin’s side but as we know, when it comes to championship hurling, anything goes. Throw-in is at 1pm and this game is brought to you by Direct Water Treatment, Tullaroan, Co. Kilkenny.
Then at 2.30pm we’re crossing to SETU Carlow where the university grounds provide the backdrop for Carlow and Kilkenny’s Leinster intermediate camogie championship final with Martin Quilty and Áine Farrell on duty. That game begins full frequency but transitions to our Kilkenny frequencies at 3pm as we go to Netwatch Cullen Park for Carlow v Limerick with Oisin Langan and Willie Quinlan. You’ll be able to get the second half of the camogie on our Kilkenny frequencies on air, online and in the app, while Carlow v Limerick is exclusive on our Carlow frequencies.
At 4.45pm we’ll start full frequency again across both counties for the 2023 Heineken Champions Cup Final between Leinster and La Rochelle with Brendan Hennessy and Mick Quinn, that came continuing on our Carlow frequencies for the second half as we bring you full buildup and coverage of Kilkenny v Dublin on our Kilkenny frequencies, the Cats looking to cement a place in this year’s Leinster senior hurling championship final.
