We have two live games coming your way this weekend with both the Carlow Hurlers and Footballers out in Championship action.

First up Dublin is coming to Netwatch Cullen Park for the All Ireland Senior Hurling Championship Prelim game.

Then on Sunday, we turn our attention to the bigger ball. Corrigan Park is the destination for Carlow versus Antrim for one O’Clock with thanks to Dan Morrissey & Co.

Antrim won their group with wins over Leitrim, Wexford, and Fermanagh. Carlow beat Wexford and Longford and lost to Limerick in their group. They beat New York in the preliminary quarter-final.

Also on Sunday, Carlow ladies take on Fermanagh ladies in the first round of the Ladies Football Junior Championship in Louth

Kilkenny was out in action in Limerick yesterday in the Kennedy Cup Plate. -they won 3-1 against Cork

They now face Kerry in the final from 1 o’clock today.

Former Evergreen player Gavan Holohan has made FA Cup team of the season after getting to the quarter-finals with Grimsby.

His 7 appearances resulted in 3 goals in the competition including 2 penalties to knock out Premier League side Southampton.

Around 2 and a half thousand Irish fans have travelled to the game which will be staged at the Opap arena.

The other game in Ireland’s group this evening sees Gibraltar play France.
