Kilkenny are through to another All-Ireland senior hurling championship final and as a result, we’ve also got our latest KCLR Electric Player of the Week.
Following another All-Star performance between the sticks for Kilkenny during the Cats’ 1-25 to 1-22 win over Clare, Glenmore’s Eoin Murphy is taking top honours this week.
With some crucial stops in the first half, Murphy’s save from Peter Duggan in injury time will serve as one of the goalkeeping highlights of the championship season – rewatch it above.
Keep an eye on the KCLR Facebook page this week for your chance to win €100 as part of the KCLR Player of the Week online competition.
You’ll also have a chance to see Eoin Murphy in training this Tuesday evening as Kilkenny GAA host an open session at UPMC Nowlan Park from 6.30pm as part of their All-Ireland senior hurling final preparations.
