Following a one-point win over London on Friday night, Kilkenny’s footballers are in Croke Park on Sunday to defend their All-Ireland junior championship title.
Christy Walsh’s side is much-changed from last year’s outing though it didn’t deter matters in Abbotstown on Friday, Kilkenny taking a four-point lead into the break before finishing out 1-13 to 0-15 winners. New York were 1-7 to 0-7 winners over Warwickshire to set up their trip to GAA headquarters on Sunday.
We’ll be live in Croke Park with Brendan Hennessy and Willie Quinlan for what’s a repeat of last year’s All-Ireland junior football championship final between Kilkenny and New York. Join us live on the player below, on air and in the KCLR app for a 1.30pm throw-in.
