We’re in the thick of league and championship season when it comes to Gaelic games with football, hurling and camogie either wrapped, well underway, or about to throw in.
When it comes to the rugby season though, we’ve still got some time on our hands with the opening of the 2023/24 Leinster League still a good six weeks away.
Tullow will begin the forthcoming season with plenty of new opposition as they take up residence in Division 1A of the Leinster League having claimed the Division 1B title last season. They’ll be swapping trips to Longford with more trips to Dublin while Kilkenny will be joining Carlow in Division 1B, the Foulkstown club suffering straight relegation at the end of last season having just about dodged the same fate a season previous. While there’s some pre-season action to get through for all three local clubs, here’s a look at who’s playing who and when.
