In the D grade, Graignamanagh meets Rower Inistioge, while Windgap faces off with St Lachtain’s in Junior F Both those games are also semi-finals.
Mooncoin got the better of Kilmacow last night by a single goal in the Iverk Produce Junior C Championship Semi Final last night. The game finished 1-17 to 17 points.
Raymond Galligan is to become the new manager of the Cavan senior footballers.
The goalkeeper will replace Mickey Graham and be handed a 3-year term.
Galligan has assembled an elite backroom team, with Eamonn Murray, Stephen O’Neill, Gary Rogers and Catherina McKiernan to be involved.

Rhasidat Adeleke finished 4th in the 400 metres final at the World Athletics Championships in Budapest last night.
The 20-year-old from Dublin ran to a time of 50 points 1-3 seconds as she just missed out on a medal.
Limerick’s Sarah Lavin set a new national record by clocking 12 points 6-2 seconds in the semi-finals of the 100-metre hurdles.
At the moment, Brendan Boyce is competing in the 35-kilometre walk.

GOLF
Rory McIlroy competes in the Tour Championship in Atlanta this week.
It’s the final event in the race for the PGA Tour’s Fed Ex Cup, which McIlroy won last year.
He tees off his opening round at East Lake just before 7pm Irish time.
On the DP World Tour, Shane Lowry, Padraig Harrington and John Murphy are in the field for the Czech Masters in Prague.
