The Intermediate football championship got started last night in Carlow
Junior Champions Clonmore came away with a 1-09 to 1-06 victory over Grange thanks to a goal by half-time substitute, Owen Coleman.
St. Patrick’s had a convincing victory in the curtain raiser with a 3-12 to 7-point win over Naomh Eoin.
The Senior Grade gets underway tonight with the meeting of Bagnelstown Gaels and Fenagh from 7:30 p.m. in Netwatch Cullen Park.
KCLR will then broadcast three games from the competition on Saturday and Sunday starting with Old Leighlin vs Eire Og from 6 o’clock tomorrow before we go onto Rathvilly vs county champions Palatine at 7:30 pm.
Then on Sunday Mount Leinster Rangers meet Tinryland, with all these games brought to you with thanks to Dan Morrissey & Co.
