Hurling
It’s a huge weekend on KCLR with the Kilkenny senior and intermediate hurling leagues and the Carlow senior and intermediate football championships coming to a head.
On Saturday at half past 1, we’ll be live in John Locke Park in Callan for the meeting of Ballyhale Shamrocks and James Stephens with thanks to Gerry Comerford Drilling Limited. Both teams can still secure a top-two position but a defeat could see them end up in a relegation semi-final.
With the other five games thrown in at the same time, we’ll have reporters at every other match.
One of those games sees the bottom of the table Danesfort face O’Loughlin Gaels. Danesfort manager Willie Coogan stressed the importance of his entire panel ahead of the start of the championship.
We’ll also be at all six intermediate games on Sunday with places up for grabs for all the teams.
