“We have a lot of work to do against the ‘boro” Tullaroan manager stresses how difficult a challenge it will be to overcome the 2017 county champions

Preparations are underway for the final round of the St. Canice’s Credit Union Kilkenny Senior Hurling League this Saturday.

There’s a league final position on the line when Dicksboro and Tullaroan face off in Ballyragget.

“He’s going to be a loss to Kilkenny” Paddy Hogan looks at the impact of his brother Richie’s absence from the club and county scene

Ken Coogan’s side must defeat their city opponents if they are to top the group and speaking to KCLR ahead of that clash, the Tullaroan manager stressed how difficult a challenge it will be to overcome the 2017 county champions.

“You take the positives. I keep saying that in every match, there are no easy matches in this. That’s the thing. And you see maybe after the two-week break,
teams really got back and got themselves together.”

“Danesfort is the same. There were close matches last night (Friday), Ballycallan had a great win, but probably a surprise. You know, when teams get that time to train together, they improve and that’s just the way it is.”

“We have a lot of work to do against the ‘boro, they are winning their matches fairly comfortably so we’ll go do what we can do.”
