Meanwhile there are four all Premier League games down for decision. Struggling Chelsea welcome Brighton to Stamford Bridge, Brentford host Arsenal, while Aston Villa entertain Everton.
The pick of the games is at St. James’ Park where last year’s finalists Newcastle United take on Manchester City. Ahead of the game City manager Pep Guardiola confirmed midfielder Kalvin Phillips will be in his starting 11.
RUGBY
France captain Antoine Dupont will be available to play in the quarter-finals of the Rugby World Cup.
The 26-year-old scrum half suffered a facial fracture during their 96-0 hammering of Namibia last week before undergoing surgery.
Assistant coach William Servat told reporters yesterday that the procedure went ‘very well’ and they have ‘no doubt’ he will feature in the knock-out stage.
Ireland may face the hosts in the last eight, depending on the remaining pool game results.
