On this week’s show, Stephen Byrne is joined by representatives from Carlow, Kilkenny and Tullow rugby clubs to discuss the local scene as the Leinster League continues, where Tullow suffer a one-point loss against Ashbourne in Division 1A, while in Division 1B, Kilkenny beat Dundalk and Carlow got the better of De La Salle Palmerston.
Carlow are also the only side in action this weekend in a friendly against Portlaoise where they’ll give their seconds and bench players a run-out. We look back at a win for the Tullow ladies over Railway Union while Kilkenny lost to Ashbourne in Division 4 of the women’s competition. It was also a successful weekend for the local youth’s sides.
We wrap things up with a look at the Rugby World Cup Final and the return of the URC.
