Carlow Junior Camogie manager Mark Brennan says that the county needs to realistic about their All-Ireland prospects.
Carlow are at home to Limerick in the 2nd round of games in the All-Ireland Premier Junior A Championship next Sunday, and Mark told KCLR that not too much should be expected of the girls….
“Westmeath, Roscommon and Armagh have all been playing up at this level for the past couple of years. We haven’t been. They have had experience at this level”
“Westmeath are a physically aggressive team. We are under no illusions. We are probably ranked 3rd or 4th or at least I think we should in this competition. It’s not going to be a cakewalk”
“I think every game we play is going to be really really tough and we hope people appreciate that and I are not coming into these matches thinking and expecting too much of the girls and the team”
