O’Loughlin Gaels, fresh off their county final victory over Ballyhale Shamrocks, are eager to carry their momentum into the provincial championship. Speaking to KCLR, manager Brian Hogan emphasized the need for his team to refocus after the elation of the county triumph. “This obviously is different in terms of coming off the elation of the county final and the high and refocus on the challenge in front of us, which is huge,” said Hogan.
Acknowledging the experience of Mount Leinster Rangers in this stage of the competition, Hogan stressed the importance of preparing his players both mentally and physically. “Mount Leinster are very experienced in this stage of the competition. So, it’s about getting the lads ready mentally and obviously physically, getting the system flushed out and getting on the move again,” he added.
For O’Loughlin Gaels, this quarter-final marks a significant step in their journey, and the team is determined to make an impact on the provincial stage. The match is scheduled to throw-in at 3:30 pm in Netwatch Cullen Park on Sunday, November 12th.
