Leinster v Munster, one of the biggest games of any championship season, is live on KCLR this Saturday evening.
We’ll be at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin with Oisin Langan and Mick Quinn calling the action for KCLR, thanks to Dan Morrissey & Co. and ahead of the game, both sides released their team details at lunchtime on Friday.
Over 48,000 tickets are already sold for the game, sending the Aviva well on its way to a sell-out game come kick-off.
For Leinster, Robbie Henshaw and Jack Conan make their first appearances of the campaign. Henshaw is joined in the centre by Garry Ringrose, while his co-captain James Ryan links up with Joe McCarthy in the engine room. Jamison Gibson-Park and Ross Byrne start at 9 and 10 respectively.
It’s a back-three of Jimmy O’Brien, Jordan Larmour and Hugo Keenan. The back row consists of Conan, Josh van der Flier and Caelan Doris. Andrew Porter, Dan Sheehan and Tadhg Furlong will pack down in the front row.
Unfortunately for Carlow rugby fans, there’s no place for the fit-again Ed Byrne who had returned to full training ahead of this week following a lay off.
Zebo starts
Munster, meanwhile, have made six changes for the showdown at the Aviva.
Stephen Archer will become most-capped player in the province’s history – he’s at tighthead and joins Jeremy Loughman and hooker Diarmuid Barron in the front row. World Cup winner Jean Kleyn makes his seasonal debut, partnering Tadhg Beirne in the second row. Tom Ahern moves to the back row, alongside John Hodnett and Gavin Coombes.
Craig Casey and Jack Crowley are the half-back duo. Rory Scannell and Antoine Frisch start in midfield. Simon Zebo makes his first start at full-back for Munster since 2018 – he’s flanked by Calvin Nash and Shane Daly.
Join us for the buildup on Scoreline on Saturday with kick-off at the Aviva Stadium set for 6.30pm
