Preparations are continuing today ahead of this weekend’s Leinster club finals involving Kilkenny teams.
Thomastown take on Bray Emmetts at 1 o’clock this Saturday in the intermediate decider with Echeloon Park in Aughrim playing host to the showpiece event.
Thomastown manager Noel Doherty has told KCLR that the players realise that the opportunity to win a provincial title is a variety. Hear that full interview on air Friday night.
We’ll have full live commentary of that game on KCLR with Brendan Hennessy and Michael Walsh calling all the action.
At the same time in Glenisk O’Connor Park, Tullamore, Tullogher Rosbercon go head-to-head with Carrig and Riverstown in the junior final.
Keeping with Kilkenny GAA news, the new jersey for the 2024 campaign is set to be unveiled today.
Keep and eye on Kilkenny GAA social media to catch it, I have a feeling it might be black and amber.
Are you ready? đź‘€ @KilkennyCLG

There was late heartbreak for Luton in the Premier League last night.
They’d come from behind to lead 3-2 at home to Arsenal but Kai Havertz levelled for the visitors, and Declan Rice made it 4-3 to Arsenal in the seventh minute of added time.
The win moves Arsenal five points clear at the top of the table as they bid to win the title for the first time in 20 years.
Burnley remain in the relegation zone following a 1-nil defeat last night away to Wolves.
Hwang Hee Chan’s eighth goal of the season settled matters at Molineux (pr: Mol-in-new).
Chris Wilder’s first assignment as Sheffield United boss is to oversee the visit of Liverpool to Bramall Lane in the Premier League tonight.
Elsewhere, Aston Villa welcome champions Manchester City to Villa Park, Manchester United play Chelsea, Brighton take on Brentford, Crystal Palace host Bournemouth and Fulham face Nottingham Forest.
