Thomastown take on Bray Emmetts at 1 o’clock this Saturday in the intermediate decider with Echeloon Park in Aughrim playing host to the showpiece event.

The draw for the 2024 Electric Ireland Fitzgibbon Cup has taken place.
Defending champions UL will meet ATU Galway and TUS Mid-West in Group B.
Mary Immaculate College have been paired with Maynooth University and UCC in Group A while SETU Waterford, DCU DE and MTU Cork in Group C.
In Group D it’s University of Galway, SETU Carlow and UCD.
The competition is due to start on January 17th.

There was late heartbreak for Luton in the Premier League last night.
They’d come from behind to lead 3-2 at home to Arsenal but Kai Havertz levelled for the visitors, and Declan Rice made it 4-3 to Arsenal in the seventh minute of added time.
The win moves Arsenal five points clear at the top of the table as they bid to win the title for the first time in 20 years.
Burnley remain in the relegation zone following a 1-nil defeat last night away to Wolves.
Hwang Hee Chan’s eighth goal of the season settled matters at Molineux (pr: Mol-in-new).
Chris Wilder’s first assignment as Sheffield United boss is to oversee the visit of Liverpool to Bramall Lane in the Premier League tonight.

RUGBY
Leinster have been dealt a serious blow ahead of Sunday’s Champions Cup game away to La Rochelle.
Ross Byrne is out until the new year, having undergone a procedure on an arm injury sustained in the win over Munster.
Jamie Osborne will also miss the game in La Rochelle after suffering a shoulder injury in Saturday’s win over Connacht.
