Paddy Deegan has been nominated to be captain of the Kilkenny senior hurling team by O’Loughlin Gaels.
Deegan was part of the O’Loughlin’s side that won the county title and Leinster championship in 2023.
Clubmate Huw Lawlor has been confirmed as the vice-captain for Derek Lyng’s side.
Kilkenny begin their Allianz National Hurling League campaign on Sunday, February 4th when they play host to Wexford with throw-in set for 1.45pm in UPMC Nowlan Park (Live on KCLR).
KCLR is the only place where you can hear all of Kilkenny’s Allianz National Hurling League, Leinster championship and All-Ireland series games in 2024.
