Former long distance Irish runner Jerry Kiernan has described as Eoin Everard as a good tactical runner.
Eoin will compete in the 1500 metres of next weeks European Championships in Amsterdam, and Jerry told KCLR that even though it will be difficult for Eoin, he wouldn’t rule him out…..
“Eoin is a good lad. A great racer. He’s run 3.41. Now there will be a whole bunch of people he’s up against who will have run faster than him”
“He’s quite a good tactical racer. He ran 1.49 in the 800 metres in Cork a couple of nights ago so it was a slow tactical race”
“I mean I wouldn’t rule him out, but he’s really going to be up against it”
