The buzz is building as the Kilkenny Intermediate and Senior Camogie teams gear up to face Wexford in the Leinster Semi-Finals this Saturday.

The matches are slated to take place at St. Lachtain’s GAA grounds in Freshford, with the Intermediate game at 4 pm followed by the Senior clash at 6 pm.

According to Kilkenny manager Peter Chap Cleere, “It’d be absolutely brilliant for any young girl in the county. You know, you’re going to get two fantastic matches. You have the intermediates and the seniors, one after the other.” Cleere, clearly enthusiastic about the upcoming games, emphasized the potential for a great day out for supporters.

In anticipation of the event, Cleere highlighted the promising weather forecast for the weekend, adding, “Apparently, the weather is to be very nice this weekend as well.” With sunny skies on the horizon, the stage is set for an enjoyable day of camogie action in Freshford.

Cleere encouraged fans, young and old, to make their way to St. Lachtain’s GAA grounds to witness the excitement firsthand. “So, I’d be encouraging so many of the girls and boys to make their way to Freshford. It’s going to be a fantastic occasion, two cracking matches in store,” he remarked optimistically.

As the teams gear up for what promises to be a fiercely contested encounter, hopes are high that both the Intermediate and Senior sides can secure victories. Cleere expressed his optimism, stating, “Hopefully, from both county setups, we will be able to come out on the right side.”

With the prospect of thrilling matches ahead and the support of their loyal fans, the Kilkenny Camogie teams are ready to give it their all and make their mark on the Leinster stage.
