Carlows Finn Lynch and Annalise Murphy hit the water in their events today.
Finn goes in the Men’s laser dinghy just after 5 o clock Irish time.
Finn Lynch says that a top half finish in the Olympic Sailing competition would be a success.
Speaking to KCLR, Finn says he would happy if he finished in the top 25……
“Yeah, I am really excited. I have been training there (in training camp) for I think about 50 days or 60 days in total and starting to get the hang of it now, so anywhere in the top half would be pretty good seeing as I am the youngest guy going in, so my goal is probably around top 20 or top 25”
