Former All-Ireland winning Kilkenny captain Eddie O’Connor is expecting another very close encounter when they and Waterford clash in Saturday nights All-Ireland Semi-Final replay.
Eddie says whichever team recovers the best will have an advantage ahead of Saturday’s replay……
“It’s home from home really for Waterford and I would imagine that Thurles been what it is to Waterford, it’s probably worth a couple of points start to them”
“Replays tend to take a life of their own too at times. I don’t think there is anything between the two teams and a lot will depend on how players can recover because it’s an amateur game”
“Whichever team can recover the best will probably go into the game next Saturday night feeling they have a better advantage but personally myself, I don’t think there is anything between the teams. I am looking to a cracking game next Saturday night”
