Kilkenny County Board Chairman Ned Quinn says the countdown to September’s All-Ireland Final is what people within the county live for.
Speaking to KCLR after the Semi Final win over Waterford, Ned says the Kilkenny support is greater now than it ever was…..
“Oh lord, sure this is what we live for and it will be three busy weeks, lots of things to be done. Obviously, the main thing has to go on is in Nowlan Park but we as a Board have a lot of things to put in place but we have a pretty well oiled machine at that level as well”
“We have huge support in Kilkenny. This team over the last 10 or 12 years I would say, this is the best support from Kilkenny I have seen. Like last Sunday in Croke Park, we definitely outnumbered Waterford big time which would be very unusual. I mean they are a way bigger county”
“Hope that support will transfer into real support for the Team in the run-up to the All-Ireland. There is things we have to do and I know people will understand what I am talking about, and we are looking for the support for that as well”
