Kilkenny-man Johnny Purcell is something of a character – and we’re not talking about the station’s chief executive.
Well known to the Kilkenny GAA faithful, particularly around All-Ireland time, Johnny made something of an appearance on KCLR Lunch earlier this week as part of our Black & Amber County Tour with Kilkenny County Council.
While he had a quick word on air, when the link back to base finished up, Johnny obliged the KCLR Lunch crew with a few verses to be caught on video especially for this year’s All-Ireland senior hurling final.
10,000 video views later and he’s certainly keeping locals entertained.
