O’Loughlin Gaels manager Aidan Fogarty says that Rower-Inistioge’s comprehensive victory over St. Martins last weekend came as no surprise.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of Sunday’s County Semi-Final clash Aidan says that their opponents have been steadily progressing.
“I saw the Rower-Inistioge play Danesfort in their two Quarter-Finals and I was very impressed with the Rower in both games. I thought they hurled very well, battled against the elements, played good hurling as well. They had a very good win last weekend over St. Martins as well which maybe caught some people by surprise but I think the Rower have been working away nicely in the background there, not attracting too much attention and they have deservedly made their way through to the semi-finals so it’s going to be an interesting clash now on Sunday”
Rower-Inistioge and O’Loughlin Gaels go head-to-head in their St. Canice’s Credit Union senior hurling championship semi-final this Sunday at 2pm in Nowlan Park. You can follow live commentary and analysis on air and online at kclr96fm.com. Check the full weekend’s fixtures here.
