Mullinavat Senior Camogie manager Johnjoe Aylward says they are unsure as to where they stand ahead of Sunday’s County Final against Thomastown.
Speaking to KCLR, Johnjoe is expecting a much closer contest than the League Final in which Thomastown won comprehensively.
“Yeah, we had a good victory in the Semi-Final last Sunday alright, but having said that I suppose we had a comprehensive defeat in the League Final to Thomastown so we don’t really know where we stand at the moment.
We will have to wait until the game starts I suppose on Sunday to see how we go, but our preparations since the League Final have gone fairly well so we are hopeful that we will put in a good performance on Sunday.
I know we had a good victory over Thomastown last year in the County Final, but I don’t think there is that much between the two teams and I could see nothing but only a puck of the ball on Sunday”
