Former Danesfort hurler and selector Frank Manogue says that Danesfort have every chance in the world of winning the Senior Relegation Final replay on Saturday providing they reduce the concession of free and take more of the scoring chances that are presented to them.
Speaking to KCLR, Frank says that Fenians are the experts at surviving relegation….
“Danesfort I suppose missed a lot more chances than Johnstown so they suppose they would be feeling that perhaps they could have got over the line”
“Johnstown I suppose relied on a lot of the frees so Danesfort if they cut out the frees and convert the chances definitely have every chance in the world”
“It’s one thing saying it, and you have to go out and do it in a relegation final. It’s not easy and Johnstown are the experts on it so it’s going to be hell for leather again and very close. Could expect to go and see it all the way to the wire once more”
