Evergreen Junior A manager Packie Holden says the structures within the Kilkenny & District definitely need to be looked at.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of Evergreen’s home game in the Leinster Junior Cup on Sunday against Usher Celtic, Packie says the Premier Division structures are doing nobody any favours.
“I think the structures of the Premier Division really need to be looked at. It can’t be right that Evergreen and Freebooters have 4 teams in a 7 team Premier Division. It’s just wrong and it’s not doing anybody any favours so there certainly needs to be a discussion had going forward. It’s no good for smaller clubs that Evergreen and Freebooters have 4 teams in a 7 team Division. It’s wrong”
