Mooncoin manager Joe Murphy says that their victory over John Lockes of Callan earlier this year in the League section is meaningless.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of Sunday’s County Final, Joe says that the Callan Club will be a much different outfit on Sunday.
“What goes on early in the year is totally meaningless. Callan were short a lot of players the day we beat them, neither of the McGraths were playing but they are a different team now at this stage. I mean they have come on leaps and bounds. They have forwards scoring at will there. Young Kerwick in the corner is light and fast, Simon Burke their full-forward just can’t be stopped. We know we have a big challenge ahead of us but I think we are up to it”
