O’Loughlin Gaels manager Aidan Fogarty says that Shamrocks will still be the No.1 Club Team in Kilkenny until they win a County Senior title.
Speaking to KCLR, Aidan says that Shamrocks will be driven to regain the Senior title having already won the Minor Championship…..
“People have their own opinions who is favourites or not but the Shamrocks are the Shamrocks and they have been kingpins over many years in Kilkenny and themselves and Clara have been the two dominant teams in recent years so until we win a County Final we will still say that the Shamrocks are the Number 1 Team”
“Yeah, it will be a motivating factor for them. I don’t think a club has won the Senior and Minor for quite a few years and from their point of view it is a great opportunity to do the double but we are just trying to do our one-in-a-row and see what happens after that”.
