Tullow Ladies Rugby Club manager Cora Browne admits that they are slightly fearful of playing 3rd placed Suttonians in Division 1B of the Leinster League on Sunday.
Speaking to KCLR, Cora says their preparations are not ideal with one of their players getting married on Saturday.
“We kind of are thinking that Kilkenny and Gorey are probably the strongest teams in it. Suttonians have probably played the weaker teams so far even though we were kind of scared when we saw how well they are doing but when we kind of examined it, we are afraid of them because we have a big club wedding on Saturday and they were very very unsporting and wouldn’t change the fixture so we were a bit disappointed about that. We asked them the day the fixtures came out so it’s actually made the girls twice as anxious to train, and twice as adamant that they are going to go out and get the result they want”
