Kilkenny’s Gavan Holohan Confirms Cork City Departure

Kilkenny Man Gavan Holohan has issued a statement in the past 24 hours which has confirmed that he will be leaving Cork City.

Holahan said that he had two frustrating but enjoyable years at Cork City and cited a lack of first team football and the chance of a fresh start as some of the reasons for his departure from the club.

However he could well be on his way to another SSE Airtricity Premier Division team after asking the Cork City Supporters to be nice to him when he returns to Turners Cross.
